Cottage Courtyard
The owner of this courtyard clearly loved her plants, however, the uneven crazy paving dominating the garden meant that there was no room for planting or entertaining.
The transformation focussed on a multi-dimensional scheme, with a central deck providing comfortable seating for 4 - 6 people, but also raised beds in which there is plenty of room to indulge in the passion for plants. The focus was on scented plants which fill the enclosed space with their fragrance. Like a window into another world, the waterfeature produces everchanging reflections.
