Party Garden
This previously uninviting town garden was not only rather bleak, its different levels were also too small to be useful for entertainment. The redesign had space for parties in mind. The three levels were opened up as much as possible, introducing a sizeable reclaimed deck with inbuilt raised kitchen garden planter, doubling up as seating for about 10 people.
Different textured slate and sandstone paving bring beauty and interest to the other two levels, with willow screening adds privacy to the garden. The planting focusses on edible fun - featuring a variety of herbs, cherries, figs, cherries, structural rhubarb and colourful chards. A pair of heavenly scented myrtles celebrate the owners' recent marriage.
