Extended Roof Garden
The flat roof extension was transformed from eye-sore to more than 40 sqm of enjoyable roof garden. In keeping with the building, environmentally friendly reclaimed timber (douglas fir) was used throughout.
Safety apects were paramount, and bearing these in mind, the deck space was extended by approx 50 cm, adding to the spacious feel of the roof garden. Sheltered and southwest facing, it is an ideal habitat for sunlovers, be it humans, cats, or the fig tree and other plants.
