Swimming pond
Water in its most exciting form:
Swimming ponds combine the fun of a swimming pool with pure, naturally clean water and the adventure of a wildlife experience. This project saw the revival of a disused cracked concrete pool. It was repaired, then a planting zone established around the swimming zone. Regeneration and swimming zones were
carefully clad in felt and special liner, and then filled with water from the local spring. The abundant rain helped considerably! The regeneration zone was then planted with lush vegetation, with the dual purpose of filtering and cleaning the water, as well as as being attractive to humans and wildlife. The stunning location in the Devon countryside gives it the appearance of an infinity pool.
